On arrival you will shown the various birds used in Falconry with the opportunity to handle and train some of them, including Harris Hawks, Eagle Owls, Peregrine Falcon, Barn Owl and the mighty Golden Eagle, to name but a few. You will be given a Falconers glove to wear and taught a few essential skills needed to handle them. The Owls and Hawks can be flown in the woodland around the aviaries, with the Falcons being flown in the open fields. Do remember to bring your camera to capture your experience.

After lunch the full day guests have the option
to spend some time hunting with one of the Hawks or Falcons. As we proceed
through the forest there is always the possibility of seeing some of the many
different creatures that inhabit the area, including Deer, Badger, and Fox.
This experience will never be forgotten as you work hand in hand with one of
natures ultimate predators. It is recommended you bring boots and a wet weather
coat, as our weather can be rather unpredictable.
It is usually when you observe these amazing birds in full pursuit that you realise just how good a job Mother Nature made on designing these awesome Birds of Prey. If you would rather not hunt then you can simply go on a woodland walk with your Hawk following from tree to tree until you call it to your glove.
Depending on weather conditions , there may be the opportunity to fly a specially trained Peregrine or Saker Falcon.
These Birds are trained to leave your fist and Ring up to over five hundred feet to snatch a Lure from below a Delta Kite.
