On arrival you will be taken on a tour of the aviaries to meet the various birds used in Falconry, we currently have more than fifty birds on our site used for both flying and breeding.

You are given a Falconers glove to wear and then you are in at the deep end! You normally start with either a Barn or Tawny owl to give you some confidence, then straight onto Mascara a female European Eagle Owl, the worlds largest Owl!

She will fly from high in the branches of the Pines to land silently on your raised fist, When she is sitting on your gauntlet you can truly feel the power of this incredibly beautiful predator. You can take as many photos as you wish as she takes everything in her stride!

After experiencing the Magic of the Owls its then time to move up in both speed and agility with the Hawks. We fly both Redtailed and Harris Hawks, and you will get to assist in the training of these birds helping to create a perfect falconry bird. We finish the morning by taking a trained Hawk into the surrounding woodland so you can see how all the training comes together in the field, you can attempt to hunt Rabbit and Pheasant if you wish but this is not compulsory.

We also have numerous Falcons including Peregrine, Gyr, and Sakers, as well as three species of Eagles to help make your day memorable!
